nvironmental Protection Agency Administrator Lee Zeldin on Sunday vowed that agency deregulation efforts won’t harm the environment.
When asked on CBS’s “Face the Nation” whether he could ensure the deregulation wouldn’t have an adverse impact on the environment, he responded by saying, “absolutely.”
He suggested November 2024 voters elected now-President Trump because they wanted such changes.
“They were talking about economic concerns, about struggling to make ends meet,” the former New York GOP congressman said. “That includes the cost of being able to heat their home – the choice of whether to be able to heat their home or fill up their fridge with groceries or afford prescription medication.”
