The Southgate, MI Police Department released body camera footage Tuesday of first responders rescuing residents during a recent fire at American House Southgate, a senior living facility.
The video captures police officers and firefighters helping multiple residents down a set of stairs amid the fire, which broke out on Friday. Authorities said there were 87 people in the building at the time and no casualties were reported.
The building is now inaccessible and the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
