Donald Trump’s ceasefire announcement has been confirmed by Pakistan’s foreign minister.
Ishaq Dar has taken to social media site X and said: “Pakistan and India have agreed to a ceasefire with immediate effect.
“Pakistan has always strived for peace and security in the region, without comprising on its sovereignty and territorial integrity.”
It’s worth noting that we’re still waiting to hear a response from India to the announcement.
